aloha everyone,It is very rare for the south shore of Maui to experience any rain showers. However, this week, on September 2nd, 2010, the day Debbie DeArmond & William Sizemore were to say "I do" rain clouds loomed our way! What to do? The couple is making the drive from Lahaina, and the last thing I want is for them to have a wet wedding day!
I jump into action, call Gannon's Restaurant to see if rain is looming at Poolenalena Beach, our scheduled event location! It was in fact raining in Wailea! Oh no! After dialoguing with the photographer, Caprice Nicole Photography, she quickly suggests, Keawakapu Beach, Kihei. I quickly call the Five Palms Restaurant, and as of yet, no rain, yeah!!The couple divert to the Five Palms and we execute their special day with no rain getting us wet. However, on the horizon you can see the weather flying by in the background! These amazing rain clouds provide for the perfect sunset sky! Thanks Rev.
